Contributing to the stabilization of projects with problems at an early stage
In projects with many stakeholders (such as multi-vendor situations), the PM burden rapidly increases whenever confusion occurs. The PMO specialized for quality provided by SHIFT performs quality management instead of focusing the PM burden, and involves the adjustment of various test resources and the promotion of bug fixing based on failure trends.
SHIFT utilizes independent testing methods based on our past project experience and rich and powerful test resources to perform quality assurance from a third-party perspective. This prevents the missing tests and unnecessary tests common to developers and development vendors, and provides efficient quality assurance.
As of March 2019, SHIFT operates test centers with over 2,300 test devices over Japan (in places such as Hokkaido, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka). We can conduct tests at all of our offices and can start utilizing our resources specialized for testing, for a minimum of one day. We can also make costs variable for test phases.
01
We utilize our unique standardized test knowledge to analyze unevenly distributed problems. We also filter test cases based on analysis results to efficiently identify problems. Our targeted testing methodology then targets these problems to improve quality and reduce the testing period.
02
We use the unique “CAT” integrated software test management tool we have developed to visualize the test process. This enables progress to be managed in real-time and provides monitoring of the quality of development. This reduces management work required for tasks such as data collection and calculation, and enables more timely and accurate project management.
03
SHIFT provides unique “CAT certification” that checks whether our testers have the skills required for test work, and this certification has a pass rate of a mere 6%. We can provide a high quality of testing because only testers that have been screened for the skills required for test work conduct testing.
